about

There are few tracks on the album where the adaptation of 'Another Perspective' is as applicable as it is on 'Unfair Trials'. As its title implies, the track's main focus lies with the passing of judgment - as well as the simplicity with which it may often be passed. In such cases, the line between reality and impression becomes blurred, rightly begging the question whom will separate the exact from the vague. As is pointed out throughout the track, appearances may often betray the truth, and once people are judged based on incomplete and untrue premises, they become subject to an unfair trial. The answer to this problem is suggested to lie in the adaptation of an empathetic approach, where taking on the perspective of another person aids us in recognizing our own actions. As such, the protagonist being judged rightly asks; 'Can you see from the view of this camera? / Can you see from the point of my mind? / Can you feel what I feel when you're watching? / These are the unfair trials'. Perhaps more strongly than anywhere else, 'Unfair Trials' teaches us that perspective truly is everything, and that by considering this fact, we may well be able to improve both our capacities as a 'judge' as well as the lives of those who are constantly subject to these judgments in the process.

lyrics

Set the view on panorama
Human energy in a first-point-of-view camera
Sleeping in the streets not aware of the season
People stare made me look like a social treason
The reason, they exiled it in the ocean
Buried with their humane demotion
Unfair trial, and who didn't judge
Paid in full and they still hold a grudge
Set the view on panorama
Child energy in a first-point-of-view camera
They put a tombstone on my cradle
I'm alone the disease is fatal
Signed the untold terms by force
By the norms, I’m a Trojan horse
Moms beautiful they call her names
Dad was dead he got Aids

(Chorus)
Can you see from the view of this camera?
Can you see from the point of my mind?
Can you feel what I feel when your watching?
These are the unfair trials

Set the view on panorama
People energy in a first-point-of-view camera
They thought it's not a scar it's called condition
Label it bizarre with a suspicion
In the room, I’m the rhino
No voodoo, I’m just albino
Confirmed in a society by a negation
Free with a cost of a probation
Set the view on panorama
Refugee energy in a point-of-view camera
Flee the cycle of rifle and rival
Grateful for a new chance of survival
Is it the body language or hunted vision?
Or my name, a fearful collision
Neve chose the day to be the intruder
Or plot your identity loss manoeuver

(Chorus)
Can you see from the view of this camera?
Can you see from the point of my mind?
Can you feel what I feel when your watching?
These are the unfair trials

Set the view on a Deja-vu
When the appearance betrays the truth
We judged the book by the title we made the pact
Bribed the reason indeed in fact
We signed a contract provoked a thought
Assigned it to react and to get taught
Make it contagious now like a plague
Who judge who, what's the exact from the vague
Set the view on panorama
You and I on a third-point-of-view camera
Perfections weren't our whole life ingredients
Mistakes were the spice of the experience
Sometimes the roles have never been claimed
The screenplay will make you chained
Unfair trials that's how they sound
What goes around will come back around

(Chorus)
Can you see from the view of this camera?
Can you see from the point of my mind?
Can you feel what I feel when your watching?

These are the unfair trials
These are the unfair trials
These are the unfair trials
