Words left unsaid are often those that turn out to be dearest to us, and may often provide a seemingly endless source of regret. 'Unwritten Letter' takes on the form of an audible letter written by the artist ('without the paper and the feather') to several of his most deserving recipients. Though the artist recognizes that the worth of certain deeds may sometimes prove hard to put into words, it would be unlike him not to try to do so nonetheless. In some cases, 'the alphabet will never portray / boundless sacrifices you did and will do / my whole life gift is all of you'. In short, then, this track deals with poetically repaying debts which may never truly be repayed, but the recognition of such a fact goes a long way in expressing one's intended gratitude. Spouses, family members and friends; all play a significant role in shaping who we are to eventually become, and for that, we are eternally bound to them. For if a letter is unable to repay the debt incurred by the deeds of others, we may at least find safety in the knowledge that at least, in this case, it has not gone entirely unwritten.
